This space is my way of building a community. I bring my sense of humor and big-hearted love for other people to each of my classes. Life and yoga should not be taken too seriously, and you can expect class to include a pun or Star Wars reference, or even the occasional cameo by my dog, Zoey. Classes are interactive, and I encourage speaking up during class and engaging with me and other students.

It is my passion and privilege to teach classes to benefit anyone who has survived or is currently battling cancer.  My teaching journey began at the Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Virginia, where I volunteered to lead a yoga class for cancer patients and survivors. Every Tuesday evening for more than four years I led this class, and it truly changed my life. During that time, I discovered my passion for providing quality cancer-specific yoga classes, and also how few options were out there for this population. It was during this time that I earned my Yoga for Cancer certification. My students and I created a warm, supportive community during those Tuesday night classes. I had the divine honor of teaching yoga to a group of survivors who humbled me every week with their strength and positivity.

I want everyone to experience what I have learned from yoga.  Yoga can ground you, and connect you to your body and to your fellow humans.  In class I will meet you where you are, demonstrating the use of props and offering variations to each pose. My classes offer yoga that is accessible for your body, today. We’ll bring awareness to your breath and body in a positive way, and we’ll keep it entertaining.

Let’s get started!
