YOGA FOR PEOPLE ARE GOING THROUGH/WHO HAVE BEEN THROUGH CANCER

This class is specifically for anyone who has been through cancer and is looking to continue their yoga practice or start incorporating yoga into their life. Yoga offers many benefits to include increasing balance, bone density, flexibility. Yoga is also known bring a sense of community, offer relaxation and help with sleep. These classes are challenging in ways that are accessible for everyone. I invite students to utilize props that they have available and to take the class at their own pace. Listening to your body and doing what is best for you is key in this class!

GENTLE YOGA

A 60 minute class that incorporates a class with flowing movement that connects to your breathing. A slower paced class that allows for intentional movement. This class will leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed. Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

CHAIR YOGA

This yoga class is done entirely from a seated position in a chair. This class is taught in a flow with movement of the entire body. We will use props such as blocks and straps in our seated chair pose. Class is cloncluded with a guided meditation to help further relaxation. There will also be focus on the breath throughout class. You may be surprised at what you can do in a chair class and how much you can get out of it!
